Granville Island

I was on Granville Island today, during a mildly blustery spring afternoon. Here’s a few photos:

I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend.

  1. Those shots are lovely, Teresa. The more I hear (and see) about the Pacific NorthWest, the stronger my urge to get up to that neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing.

    1. You’d really love Washington and Oregon – there’s a beautiful road that runs along the sea and lovely little beach towns to visit along the way. Seattle and Portland are great places to visit, (especially Portland, because it has Powell’s City of Books). They have a great food truck culture, too.

Here in southern BC, there’s Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands and the Sunshine Coast. The interior of British Columbia is famous for fruit-growing and wine-making and there are many different sorts of terrain throughout the province. Just four hours away, you can find desert-like conditions around Kamloops. It’s beautiful up there, too.

So, in conclusion, you’re going to have to come for a long visit! 🙂

  2. Thanks for sharing your photos. The last one is my favourite. I look forward to visiting Vancouver followed by a visit to Seattle one day!

    1. Vancouver/Seattle makes a nice trip. I’d suggest you work in Victoria, too, and take the ferry down to Washington State. All three cities have a lot to offer.
